Claire Ramsden is the head of the department. Claire graduated from the University of Sheffield and the College of Law, York. She trained and qualified in Nottingham, joining Williamsons in 2004 after working for Hull City Council in their legal department. Her time in the public sector allowed her to work on large projects such as sales of agricultural land to gas and oil companies to allow construction of BP’s Teesside to Saltend pipeline and the Aldbrough Gas Pipeline. These projects have provided Claire with a level of experience that it is unlikely she would have had until later in her career.
