Family Mediation

Mediation is an alternative way of resolving the issues that arise from separating from your spouse, or partner, such as the arrangements for the children or financial issues or how you wish to go about getting divorced. Mediation can be used long after your separation or divorce however if disputes arise about your children or your finances that you need to resolve.

Mediation can also be used by others members of the family such as grandparents who need to discuss issues such as contact with their grandchildren.

Mediation offers you the opportunity to have a confidential meeting with your spouse, partner or family member to discuss matters important to you, with the assistance of our mediator, to reach an agreement that is fair and meets the needs of you and your family.

Agreements can be reached quickly and amicably and mediation can help to reduce anger and misunderstanding and improve communication.

Our mediator, Karen Saunders, has been a solicitor for 26 years and has been qualified as a mediator for more than 10 years. She is accredited by the Legal Services Commission to undertake publicly funded mediation work.

We offer a free half hour assessment appointment either separately or together with your spouse to discuss the process and the cost and to help you decide if mediation is right for you.

NOTE:  Free 30 minute interview applies to Mediataion ONLY.
