Local boxing talent Connor Seymour

18 December 2014

News

Local boxing talent Connor Seymour has continued to be successful, winning the majority of his amateur fights.  He drew in his very first professional boxing match and claimed victory in his second match against opponent Dee Mitchell with a 39-38 points win.

Connor is now gearing up to his third professional fight on Saturday 20th December at the Hull City Hall.

Connor told us: “Just a couple of days to go till my third pro fight now and I’m feeling fantastic.

It’s been a great camp and the first time I’ve gone into camp already feeling fit, so I’ve just built on that.  I’ve had some great sparring and great technical work, I’ve learnt a lot since my last fight and I’m ready to put on a great performance on Saturday.

I was hoping to be fighting at 11st 6lb or less but my opponent is up at 12 stone so I’ve not really had to worry about my weight. This will be my last fight at 12 stone though any fight after this will be 11st 6lb or under.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all my sponsors and everyone who has bought tickets I really appreciate the support and I’m ready to do you all proud on Saturday.

Williamsons Solicitors are happy to be sponsoring Connor again in his fight this Saturday evening.

Good luck to Connor!
