Wills and Probate - Rebecca Bisby

Rebecca is a Director, Head of the Private Client Department and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. She qualified in August 2012 working in Private Client, with 8 years previous legal experience.

Rebecca deals with Wills (including care fee and inheritance tax planning), extraction of Grants of Probate, Estate Administration (by sorting out everything from start to finish when your loved one has passed away) putting houses into Trust, setting up Personal Injury Trusts, preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters (such as applications to be appointed as a Deputy or applications on behalf of existing Deputies).

She enjoys meeting a wide variety of clients.  She prides herself on ensuring they fully understand whatever it is that she is assisting them with and to make the process as trouble-free and as stress-free as possible, often in very difficult and upsetting circumstances.

Often when clients don’t have family or friends that are able to act as an attorney or deputy for them the Directors of Williamsons can step in and act in this role. Rebecca acts as the contact for that client (or their family) on behalf of the Directors who are appointed and deals with client’s day-to-day affairs of a varying nature that they are unable to deal with themselves.  Rebecca thoroughly enjoys helping her clients in this way.

Rebecca is married with two daughters.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoys eating out, going to the cinema and theatre.
