Richard Smith, who joined Williamsons aged 19 in 1994, became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2000 and manages a team of litigation executives. Richard deals with a wide range of personal injury matters, specialising in work accidents, road traffic accidents, slips/trips, accidents abroad, product liability, stress/harassment at work and industrial disease claims. He has specialised knowledge of legal costs issues and has been closely involved in Williamsons’ bespoke case management system. In 2007 he concluded a £200,000 settlement for a road accident injury.
