Divorce Fees

Williamsons offer clients an agreed fixed fee basis for their work in divorce.  The fees are set out below:

Petitioner Divorce – £720.00 including vat + disbursements

Fees to be paid via cheque payable to HMCTS

• Court fee to issue proceedings and apply for Decree Absolute – £593.00

This is for standard uncontested divorce proceedings, to include:

• Initial advice
• Drafting petition and accompanying documents
• Filing documents
• Applying for Decree Nisi and Decree Absolute

Respondent Divorce – £240.00 including VAT

Additional associated costs

Any additional work, which may occur as a result of the divorce but is unforeseen at the outset, will be charged on an hourly basis.
