Bill Waddington is head the Defence Advocacy Department, an
Equity Partner in the firm and is well known for his work for
companies and individuals. After qualifying in 1980, Bill went
on to became head of defence advocacy at another Hull practice
until 2000, when he moved with his department to Williamsons.
Chambers’ Client’s Guide to the UK Legal Profession notes his
work in defending against health and safety prosecutions brought
by trading standards and environmental health departments and
also cases brought by Customs and Excise. The guide also
mentions Bill’s work on white-collar crime, road traffic
defences and large and small-scale criminal cases. “Much of the
work is recommended by reputation” says Chambers. |
