21 September 2016
Every year Macmillan invites people to hold coffee mornings, with all donations made on the day sent directly to Macmillan to help them meet their goals of providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support to cancer sufferers.
On Thursday the 29th September our Driffield branch will be holding a vintage Macmillan coffee morning and raffle. There will be cakes, flapjacks and buns alongside a variety of raffle prizes! It will start from 10am onwards and will be held in the reception
How your money will help
Whilst each and every donation is appreciated, the following amounts make a real difference:
£27 could pay for a Macmillan nurse to spend an hour with someone who has just been told they have cancer.
£61 could pay for a Macmillan adviser to spend a morning with someone who is struggling to make ends meet as a result of living with cancer.
£278 could keep a Macmillan support centre stocked for a month with all the things it needs to support families affected by cancer.
When and Where
Cakes, coffee and the raffle will be available to clients and the public in the reception in our Driffield office from 10am on Thursday 29th September 2016.
If anybody would like to offer donations that would be much appreciated.
