Emma has worked in law since 1997 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2011. She chose this route as she was keen to gain practical experience at the same time as studying rather than completing a traditional law degree.
Emma is also an Accredited Police Station Representative and has represented clients at the Police Station for a wide range of offences from low value Shop Thefts to Serious Assaults, Kidnap, Armed Robbery, Firearms offences and Murder.
Emma has experience of preparing cases for the Crown Court including a number of Murder cases and high value and complex Frauds. She regularly instructs expert witnesses to provide opinions on cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.
Emma qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate in 2019 which allows her to represent clients in the Magistrates Court and is now working towards the Duty Solicitor Qualification.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
