Beverley has been named as one of the ‘best places to live’ in the North.

The Sunday Times are publishing the newspaper’s annual best places to live guide this weekend and Beverley has made the top 10.

Not only that, Beverley is the only town from East Yorkshire entered.

Williamsons Solicitors has a branch in Beverley, which is why it comes no surprise to us that Beverley has been listed as one of the best places to live in the north, due to the statistics of jobs, schools and community spirit in Beverley.

Taking the top of the leader board is Tynemouth in Northumberland which has been praised for its seaside resorts, architecture and outstanding primary schools.

As we have a conveyancing and commercial department, we know that location is a big factor on deciding where to plant your roots. As moving house can be extremely stressful, but with the benefits of knowing the place you have chosen is perfect for you in anyway this takes the burden of that away.

The average price of a starter home in Beverley is roughly £105,000 according to “Hull Daily Mail” and for a standard family home you are looking at around £354,000.
