Friends of Martin House Hospice – Autumn Fair

The Friends of Martin House Hospice are holding their annual Autumn Fair on Saturday 19 October 2019 at the Cottingham Civic Hall from 10am to 4pm.

Sarah Jackson from our Clinical Negligence department is one of the members of the Friends of Martin House and Williamsons are proud to support the wonderful work that they and Martin House do.

Martin House is a hospice providing care to children and young people with life limiting illness and support to their families.

The Hospice, which is in Boston Spa near Wetherby, provides free support to people in East, North and West Yorkshire and is focussed on helping children and their families to have the best quality of life, even in the hardest of times.

They are a charity and are dependent on donations and the hard work of supporters such as Sarah to raise money and raise awareness for the wonderful work that they do.

The Autumn Fair is open to anyone to attend and all of the proceeds go to Martin House. As well as supporting Martin House, you can also pick up some bargains from the stalls selling new and used items, including crafts, books and DVDs, Christmas cards and items, baby items and toys, jewellery, clothes and accessories.

There will be cake and refreshments to buy, as well as a raffle and bottle tombola for the grownups and games and a soft toy prize draw for the children plus a special appearance by Marty Bear, the mascot for Martin House.

It is going to be a great day so please pop along to support Martin House and help raise money so that they can keep helping families in need.
