Humber NHS Failing Patients

Blog, News

Mr Wayne Walker, Medical Negligence Solicitor, who acts for one of the families of a patient that was being cared for by the Trust, and that patient subsequently died, indicated that the Care Quality Commission Report outlines a number of inadequacies which have continually been echoed by staff, families and patients for some time. These inadequacies lead to catastrophic events with the ripple effect being felt by the patients and their families.

The report recognises some innovative ideas and exemplary staff but that is shadowed by the failings. Mr Walker goes on to say “hopefully the report will now lead to serious reviews being undertaken to improve services for the region as a whole for the benefit of individuals who rely on that service”

Mr Walker acts for families through Inquest Proceedings and Medical Negligence investigations against the medical profession as a whole.
