The Claimant was a passenger on a bus which braked suddenly with force causing her to be thrown out of her seat.
An ambulance was called to the scene and she was given gas and air. The Claimant was taken to hospital as a result of injuries to her stomach, neck and shoulders. She also suffered with anxiety.
Liability was not initially accepted, so Williamsons obtained evidence including independent witness evidence, photographs, evidence of travel and confirmation of medical attendance following the accident. CCTV footage from the date of the accident was also obtained to confirm the Claimant’s attendance on the bus.
Liability was subsequently accepted, and the Claimant was awarded £1250.00 compensation for her injuries.
