Lawyers from Williamsons and other local firms have staged a second walkout over planned cuts to legal aid.
The action followed a similar walkout in January.
It came as the Government continues to press ahead with planned fee cuts to Barristers and Solicitors in an effort to save £220m from the £2bn annual cost of legal aid.
Amelia Woollen speaking outside Hull Magistrates’ Court said, “The savage cuts proposed will decimate the provision of legal aid, leading to the closure of many established high street firms and the loss of years of knowledge and experience”.
