Paul Kirby, Solicitor in our Family and Childcare department, discussed the issues surrounding custody arrangements over the festive season between separated parents live on BBC Radio Humberside with David Burns.
New research reveals that 3 in 10 divorced dads miss out on seeing their children over the Christmas period with a peak in calls in December from dads seeking a way to revise custody arrangements to be able to see their children over the holidays.
Holiday custody arrangements tend to be left out during the legal proceedings to save time, money and stress for both parties. However, many fathers report later regretting the decision to omit such arrangements and feel left out.
Listen back to Paul on the podcast from 15 minutes in here to find out how these situations can be avoided.
