Employees at Williamsons Solicitors and their family and friends are taking part in a Challenge Walk event organised by Dove House Hospice on Saturday 20th July 2019. The event is open to all and if you are interested in taking part you can find out more on their website.
The cross-country dash starts in the beautiful surroundings of the Little Wold Vineyard and takes you up and down hills along part of the Wolds Way with views only interrupted by four wine stations!
Enjoy either a leisurely 5km or challenge yourself to 15 miles. For those interested, there will be the opportunity to taste wines from across the world provided by the House of Townend, along with nibbles, at an additional cost. It is a great chance to get friends and family together for a fabulous cause. Whether you walk or run the route, we think you’ll have a ‘grape’ day!
The 15 mile route sets off at 9am and the 5km route starts at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Families are more than welcome to join in at 1pm. Please be aware that dogs are not allowed.
Any donations can be given via a sponsorship form or our team JustGiving page. ALL money raised will go to Dove House Hospice.
For those of you who have not heard of Dove House Hospice, it is a fantastic charity that offers care to anyone over the age of 18 years old who has had a diagnosis of a non-curable life limiting illness. They offer a range of psychological, physical, social and spiritual support services to the whole family not just the person who is ill. The Hospice could not run without your help and the donations you make are vital to maintaining their services.
