The new craze is a community on Facebook and when the rocks are found, the message is inviting the person to post a picture on the Beverley Facebook Page and to either re-hide the rock or keep it.
Rocks have been discovered within Beverley, along the Beverley Beck and have even reached East Park too!
Of course, it is the youngsters who seem to be really enjoying the exploring, but the adults seem to be having fun also.
In an article by HU17.net, Katie Gibson who discovered her first rock in Tickton, on St Paul’s Way says the idea is great, she said:
“I think it’s a great idea! Children are being creative and active! And it’s really bringing the community together, brilliant timing too with the summer holidays.”
