Williamsons Solicitors Hourly Rate To Be Dropped Within Family Work

Williamsons Solicitors hourly rate is to be dropped in favour of fixed fee packages for certain areas of family work, in particular in respect of divorce.  Clients have welcomed the advantage of the fixed fee package, which allows them to budget for their legal fees.

Whilst fixed fees have been offered by Williamsons in many areas of work such as Domestic Conveyancing and Commercial Property, Williamsons have recently adopted a fixed fee approach for family work.

Some matters are very much easier to assess on a fixed fee basis than others and complex cases often make it impossible to estimate the level of work and direction a case may take and they may be better suited to an hourly rate.  However, Williamsons Family Department offer clients a fixed fee package for initial advice appointments on divorce and divorce itself.
