In an article published on Sunday 26 May, 2013 entitled Grieving Relatives ‘Scorned by NHS’, Williamsons Solicitors’ Natalie Hider commented on the negligence shown by the NHS.
In particular, Natalie was speaking on behalf of one of her clients whose mother died following a drugs error at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham in April 2010. Mr Fisher spent three years pursuing a complaint against the trust which denied any wrongdoing and said an earlier admission of the error “could have saved [him] three years of hard work and anguish”.
Natalie Hider said: “If Mr Fisher’s concerns had been answered fully at the outset, he and his family would have avoided unnecessary and prolonged distress.”
