NO WIN, NO FEE

What is an Injury
at Birth claim?

The arrival of a baby should be one of the happiest moments in a woman’s life. However, birth trauma can arise, which causes injury to the baby, mother or both during the birth and in the immediate period after birth, known as the neonatal period.

Not all injuries will be due to negligence but a proportion will have suffered avoidable injuries due to failings in the medical care received. Such injuries can have lifelong consequences for the mother, baby and wider family and mean that substantial care, support and rehabilitation is required.
