Today, our Clinical Negligence Team has hosted the Macmillan Coffee Morning and in the spirit of raising money for this important charity, the staff at Williamsons have feasted on delicious sweet treats and savouries, as well as buying raffle tickets to try to win one of the fantastic prizes kindly donated.

The grand total raised is an outstanding £620.00, all of which is to be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and which is around double the amount raised last year. Well done to the star bakers in the Clinical Negligence Team who have spent hours in front of their ovens over the past few days to prepare their brilliant bakes.

Organisations such as Macmillan provide a crucial support network for those living with cancer. Macmillan’s aim is to help people live well with and beyond cancer, whether this be in respect of Macmillan Nurses and Support Workers, needs assessments, emergency grants, benefits or access to the Macmillan Support Line.

Macmillan Cancer Support is 98% funded by voluntary donations and through their donations, they help to provide essential services, care and guidance to people affected by cancer. We are proud to continue to support Macmillan and we look forward to joining in again with The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning next year within the aim of beating this year’s grand total!
