Personal Injury FAQs

Will I have to pay?

We operate on a no win, no fee basis. If you win we will agree to cap our costs to a sum no more than 25% of the compensation we will win for you.

How much compensation will I get?

The amount of compensation you will receive depends on the severity of your injury, the length of time it takes for you to recover, the effect the injury has had on your life, and if it will have any long-term effects. Our figures are intended as a guide only, every case and pay-out is unique.
Losses incured because of the injury, including loss of earnings, medical and travel expenses can be added to the guide amount, and we guarantee that whatever compensation you receive, you will keep at least 75% of it.
We always fight to win you the maximum amount of compensation in the shortest time possible.

How long will my claim take?

No two cases are the same therefore it is difficult for us to give you exact timings straight away. Generally, the length of your claim will very much depend on the level of complexity and whether fault is admitted at an early stage and how long it takes for you to recover from your injuries.
If the fault is admitted at an early stage and your injuries are of a relatively modest nature, then the average claims usually take between 4 and 12 months.
We always fight to win you the maximum amount of compensation in the shortest time possible.

What if my accident happened a long time ago?

If you are thinking about making a claim, get in touch with us as soon as you can. You must start court proceedings within three years of when you were injured, or of when you first knew you were injured. After this it will almost always be too late.

What if I make a claim against my employer?

Your employer is not allowed to treat you unfairly or dismiss you for making a workplace accident claim. They are also required by law to have insurance and their insurance company will deal with your claim, not your employer.

Does it matter if I don’t live in Hull?

No. We take on claims and clients from all areas throughout England and Wales.
